SparkAbility 2026:
A Walk for Change

Brought to you by Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) and SPD

SOS and SPD are coming together to launch SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change.  Building on years of nurturing strong and passionate communities through our signature events – SOS’ Spark the Change Fest and SPD Ability Walk, we are uniting our strengths and communities in a collective movement to raise awareness of disability inclusion and suicide prevention.

ABOUT SPARKABILITY 2026

In a society where many still struggle in silence, we believe that every conversation matters. By normalising discussions about suicide and mental wellbeing, we shed light on the shadows of shame and fear that keep people from reaching out. With every shared experience, we create ripples of compassion, understanding, and support. This is our collective responsibility—to let those in crisis know they are seen, heard, and valued.

Since 1969, Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) has served as Singapore’s national suicide prevention agency, offering emotional support to people in crisis, thinking of suicide, or affected by suicide.

This year, SOS and SPD are partnering to present SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change, an event aimed at raising funds and awareness on the interconnected challenges of disability inclusion, mental health, and social isolation, while fostering resilience through collective support and meaningful community engagement.

Persons with disabilities may face heightened risks of isolation, stigma, and mental health challenges, while individuals experiencing emotional distress often suffer silently without timely support. SparkAbility 2026 reflects a shared commitment to building a more compassionate and inclusive society where no one has to walk alone in their darkest moments.

HOW YOU CAN BE A PART OF SPARKABILITY 2026

SparkAbility 2026 is for everyone, so gather your family, friends, and colleagues and be part of this meaningful walk. Together at SparkAbility 2026, let’s show that hope is always within reach, and that seeking help is not a sign of weakness, but of strength.
