Mindful Bytes

A programme to teach youths to engage in safe and
constructive online conversations to support those
at risk of suicide.

Posting and re-posting stories or even trying to help can do more harm than good if you do not know how to chat appropriately online.

Join us in our onsite or online workshop to be equipped with the knowledge on how to be a better peer supporter!

How do we effectively support those vulnerable to suicide risk in digital spaces?

  • Identify appropriate words and phrases to use when talking about suicide.
  • Recognise and display words and phrases that are free of judgement and stigma.
  • Learn to engage a person who shows signs of suicide risk in digital spaces.
  • Develop greater self-awareness to provide support and manage personal mental well-being.
