World Suicide Prevention Day 2016

Suicide is tragic but often preventable. The empty spaces created affect all who are left behind.


Continuing our efforts from the previous year, the aim of our 2016 campaign was to get more people talking about the topic and encouraging those in need to seek the support they require.

SOS expanded its reach by involving more partners in the community and even Patron of SOS, Mr Lawrence Wong, took part.

We also garnered the support of more than 25 cafes and brands in helping to promote the campaign at their premises or through related channels.

Finally our campaign video entitled Empty Spaces was broadcast at Golden Village mulitplexes before the screening of selected movies during the campaign period.
