International Survivors of Suicide (ISOS) Loss Day is a once a year event in which suicide loss survivors come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. This is a private, closed-door event that aims to create a confidential safe space for people affected by suicide loss.
This year, ISOS Loss Day will be commemorated on 20 November 2021, Saturday. While it will be ideal that we meet you in person this year, the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic means that the event will unfortunately have to take place virtually.
To broaden our understanding towards suicide grief and bereavement, SOS has brought together suicide loss survivors and experts in various fields to share their experience and knowledge. The event consists of talks and experiential workshops by experts in various fields, as well as personal stories of healing from suicide loss survivors.
Join us and a community of suicide loss survivors at SOS in marking ISOS Loss Day and stand in solidarity with other loss survivors in their grief journey.
Due to the focus and the sensitive nature of the event, do note that this event is exclusively for those who’ve lost a loved one to suicide.
For further enquiries, you may call 1-767 (local usage) or write in hb@sos.org.sg.
The event is free-of-charge and you may register your interest at www.bit.ly/isos-loss-day-2021. Registration will close on 15th November 2021.
